MEET
It all began on a Baldwin piano in the front bay window of her home in Detroit, Michigan. Paulina Jayne’s dream was born. As a nine year old girl, she prolifically composed classical-sounding songs, a melodic reflection of the highs and lows in her little world. She then began writing lyrics to her melodies, and when she got her first guitar for her eleventh birthday, her creativity exploded. Music has been Paulina’s closest confidant ever since.
As a freshman in high school, Paulina signed her first management deal, which brought her to Nashville every two weeks to cowrite with legends like Shane McAnally, JT Harding, Bonnie Baker and Danny Orton. She started opening for major acts like Sheryl Crow, Chase Rice and Jerrod Niemann in Live Nation venues across the country, and ultimately released her first EP, “The Girl Who Would Be King.” Paulina and her full band played nearly two hundred shows in her high school years and sold out 400 capacity venues in her home state.
After working with producers, Al Sutton (Greta Van Fleet) and Trey Bruce (#1 hit songwriter), the natural progression was her move to Nashville, TN. She studied Music Business at Belmont University, while touring the country opening for Rascal Flatts, Sam Hunt, Old Dominion and more, writing every day with hit songwriters like Anthony Smith and Greg Barnhill, hosting sold out Nashville shows (Paulina Jayne Is Your Friend) and starting her very own management company with fellow Belmont students, Tess Davies and Stevie Palmer, under the tutelage of several industry executives.
As an independent artist, Paulina then released her self-titled 2016 EP, which garnered half a million streams on her single, “Love’s Gonna Always Win.” She won the MusicRow Magazine DISCovery Award from Robert K. Oermann and landed a sponsorship from the Ford Motor Company Fund. She is now a national spokesperson for Ford and for the nonprofit organization, Miss Amazing, Inc., which aims to empower girls and women with disabilities. Paulina is also proudly endorsed by Bluesman Vintage Guitars, AMI Guitars and G7th capos.
Paulina’s acting career began on Netflix in season 3 of “Top Grier” with social media star, Hayes Grier. She also has music placements on the show. Paulina was then featured act on a Folgers Coffee commercial on ION television broadcasting to over 100 million homes, and has since appeared on hundreds of radio and television shows on NBC, ABC, CBS, Cumulus and Entercom affiliates nationwide.
Before the 2023 year closed, Paulina received the ASCAP Peggy Lee Songwriting Award for her solo-write original, “Half,” co-produced by Paulina and Grammy-award winning engineer, Mills Logan. She played all over the Midwest and made her Bridgestone Arena debut for a crowd of 20,000 opening for Keith Urban and Vince Gill. Her online presence skyrocketed with her viral Tiktok series, “but make it country.” Paulina spent the entire year storytelling in solo-writes, with #1 hit songwriters, Rob Crosby, Michael Farren and Billy Montana, with her closest friends Grace Gonzalez and Ryan Ladd, and with her very own kin, her mom.
In 2024, Paulina Jayne is set to release new music she co-produced with Mike Hicks (Rascal Flatts, Kebmo, Brooks and Dunn) at Welcome to 1979 Studios with her all-star band—Terence Clark (drums), Steve Mackey (bass), Nate Duggar (guitars), Mike Hicks (keys, organ). Paulina is now working with Strong World Management and the hottest Grammy-nominated act in Nashville, The War & Treaty.
